Learn before you play

Stay true. Write it yourself.

Eddie loves his life. He walked away from a million-dollar Warner deal because he would not be a slave to the machine. This hub teaches what he wants every kid to know — before the game throws contracts at you.

Write your own lyrics

A beat or a concept from a friend is fine. AI can spark an idea — but your words have to be yours. Predators love artists who do not own their story. Your lyrics are your copyright.

Contracts are serious

You do not need to be a lawyer. You need to know signing is binding. The industry will hand you “their” attorney — that person works for them. Bring someone you trust. Redline every line. If you sign blind, you can owe more than you ever earn.

Eddie had Warner money on the table and walked. The game teaches that same muscle — skate sponsors, 360 deals, studio traps.
